Hi,

I'm a novice with computer problems!
I've been having a lot of problems with SQL and mssql$mssmlbiz (in event viewer). I also have problems with SQLEVN70.RLL being corrupt and I've been told to reinstall SQL 2005 - but i have no idea where and with what other programmes it got installed with.

Is it installed with Microsoft windows??? And if so can i just repair it without getting too involved technically?

Are there any sites for complete beginners that show how it should be configured??
Thank you in advance

SQL is not installed with windows; you can remove your existing installation using add remove programs under the control panel (look for MS SQL Server)

You can install sql 2005 from CD/dvd media (if you have one) or download from the internet
