                                            | hi,i've been working with reporting services since very long.it works perfectly fine and reveals all the data as in the wanted format. but the actual problem occurs when i configure reporting services with sharepoint.i dont kno much about the basic reason for the issue whether it is related to sharepoint or to sql therefore i'm posting my query in both sharepoint and sql forums. please let me know anything related to such error:An unexpected error occurred while connecting to the report server. Verify that the report server is available and configured for SharePoint integrated mode. --> Server was unable to process request. ---> Client found response content type of 'text/html; charset=utf-8', but expected 'text/xml'.and this error occurs during the deployment of the reporting services to the sharepoint site |

                                          | See if this helps. It describes your error message a little ways down the page, and a solution to try.http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159704.aspxI haven't tied RS to a Sharepoint site yet. Until we get up to SQL 2008, it would disable our data driven subscriptions. So we would lose more than we'd gain right now.thanks, Greg EGreg E |
