| Hi I have loaded SQL 2005 standard Server. Several Times. I have loaded sp2 and still cannot get the copy database wizard option. Please help. I would like to copy the db from 2k to 2005. that way I will recieve all of the logins etc and it works when i did it in 2000. thank you for your supportMargaret Keller |

| Go here for the script to create you logins on the new server. Works flawlessly.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918992Instead of using the copy database wizard, why not simple backup and restore. Or detach for 2000 and attach on 2005? Seems so much easier, to me!Terry-- Procrastinate now! |
