Hello,

I worked, untill now, with vs2005 and used to open a report project with it.

Now I have installed visual studio 2008 and I want to open a report project with it.

How can I do it? in 2005 I had a "business intelligence" project type and inside it "report server project" but in 2008 I have the report application whice is completely diffrent.

Thanks.

I don't know why, I have report server project still in 2008?!?

Are you using the same project? If so, just open the .sln file.

Maybe u install something above the vs2008?

I don't want to open a 2005 sln with 2008 since I wan't be able to work with it in 2005 after wards (i have them both install).

thanks.

Roy, I am pretty sure you can open your 2005 reports in 2008 and it will save them in the 2008 folder. It won't overwrite your 2005 reports because they are in the 2005 folder. I have both installed and haven't had any problems. You might want to test one.
Hope this helps
David
