Hi All
I have been been installing SQL Server 7, 2000 and 2005 for a few years and creating databases as part of my job as a CRM Consultant. I have used DTS and a little SSIS. I have recently boned up on SSRS and have produced some quite nice reports. I see the contract jobs for SQL dba's out there and am interested in following this path. But I am not confident that I am ready to apply for SQL dba contracts.
I am looking for a person/company in the UK - Herts, Beds, Bucks, London Area who will be willing to give me approx one day per week (Unpaid) work experience in SQL DBA. I can only give 1 day per week as I still need to carry on with my other work in order to pay the bills.
I would like to be sitting alongside and learning from a real "SQL dba" who knows their stuff.

If anyone reading this is in a position to make such an offer I really would be grateful. Or if you know of anyone else in this position please feel free to pass this on.
I can be contacted by replying to this thread or at icwicks at hotmail dot com
