Hi Everyone,

I am not sure about it is a right forum.

To use Linked Server.
I have a question: Why to run sql (ex. update statement ) takes much more time if it has the params:

update aaa set bbb ='lll' where field = @param

and takes much less if like this:

update aaa set bbb ='lll' where field = 'asdjhgf'

Thank you

Looks like a case of parameter sniffing.
