Hi Guys, We just got a new client, during the file layout, and field mapping portion of the project we noticed that one of the fields is Comp-3 (packed).

Does anyone know how to handle a packed field in SQL Server? Can it be done without he aide of 3rd party software?

I tried Googling the topic but didn't get a lot of help.

Any feedback would be helpful.
