Hi All,
I have created a Shared Data Source(using .NET Data Provider for Teradata) and mentioned the Database name in the Optional Connection Properties. I want this database name to be displayed in the Report Footer. Kindly advice me how to proceed.

Not sure you can get it from that property. But you could do a SELECT DB_NAME() in one of your queries/datasets and put that value in the footer.
