So I have a SQL2005 server (let's call it server A) that users per proc lic and I want to move the DB that's on it over to another server that is also per proc licensed (in a new instance). I want to create a new DB on server A that will have a finite number of users accessing the DB - about 10 I think. Based on my understanding of SQL lic - I don't have to do anything to the box right? Because SQL 2005 does not force you to choose a lic model...true? All I would need to do is prove I own the appropriate lic - correct? One could say - just leave the per proc on it - I have another plan for reinstalling that lic on another server...

Thoughts are welcome
