Could there possibly be a snafoo in SSRS 2008 that causes drill-through reports to prompt to print twice when you use the IE7 back (<-) button?TO DUPLICATE:1. Create Report12. Create Report2 putting a "Go To Report" action somewhere pointing to Report13. Deploy both reports to a native (non-SharePoint integrated) report server (my server is running WS03 STD)4. Run Report25. Use your action item to drill down / "Go to" Report16. Print Report1 using SSRS print icon7. In "Print" pop-up window, select any printer and click <OK>8. Use IS7 "Back" button (<-) to return to Report29. Note "Print" window pops-up again. Select any printer and click <OK> to print Report1 a 2nd time, or <Cancel> to obviously, not print10. Report2 is now the active reportIf you wait for Report1 to print between steps #7 and #8, you'll still get result #9. Clicking <Cancel> is no big deal for the majority of us, but I'm going to begin hearing, "I'm confused ... We're wasting paper ... This report doesn't work ..." Interestingly enough, I cannot duplicate this behavior on a report server that is SharePoint-integrated.Any suggestions for my native SSRS? |
