Hi,

I need to restore a sql server database 2005. The data were overwritten by wrong query only in one table. The database doesn't have a backup file.
Is there way to work around? Please let me know if I need to provide more details.

Thank you

No backup - no restore!
There is no UNDO-Function in SQL server.
It's dead Jim.

No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

If you don't have a backup (why not?) you're not getting the data back. That's one of the purposes of a backup.

You could possibly try buying a log reading tool, but if the DB's in simple recovery or there's absolutely no backup at all, the log records won't be retained will only be in the log for a couple minutes.
