Hi Experts,
i'm trying to configure Logshipping on
OS-WindowsXp sp2 (32 bit)
sql server 2005 SP2
both the instances on the same machine. configuring in a single system between two instances.

i'm getting error that it is unable to read from the shared location
i've given the shares and everything correct.

i understood that we have make some cchanges in Operating system to support Logshipping...

please help me here
can any one of you come across this kind of problem with XP?

Please post the exact error.

I don't know what operating system changes you are referring to. I've been using log shipping for years and have never needed to make any changes to the OS except what you need to do for the share.
