| We're just starting on the road to implementing an SQL databaseI have discovered and started using templates and find these very usefulHowever a drawback is that any scripts I develop are only appearing in my template list and others members in our IT group do not see these. Is there a setting or switch I am missing that would enable universal access? We're getting round this at present by emailing production ready scripts to each other, but there must be a better waySQL2008 and Visual Studio 2008 (VB Preferred) |

| I don't know if the templates folder in SSMS can be moved but another solution could be to use services like dropbox.com or sugarsync.com that syncs folders across different computers. Probably not what you were thinking of but it actually works quite well...and you might also have to think about security considerations, bandwidth, etc. (for the record I have no personal interest in you signing up or not, they do cost money. I'm just a satisfied user of one of them)- Lumbago |
