| hi this may be the wrong thread but i could not find a thread for desktop engine.Can i use xp_send mail for sql server desktop engine edition.Please let me know. |

Why don't you update to sql 2008 express, or 2005?There is however a forum for MSDE 2000, which is what you have, but you should be able to use the feature asked about. Information can be found here.http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa260697(SQL.80).aspx
