Hello,
we have a free custom script we give to clients who need a certain service of ours.

The script allows the clients db to connect to a certain db or call a webpage of ours remotely and run a few queries.

However many clients request a demo.

Is there a way of compiling TSQL scripts, such that you cannot see part or all of the source codes with the login details ?

Alternatively, We are looking at deploying this via Visual basic

Any ideas ???

You can consider encrypting the stored procedures in the demo database.

I have tried that, but its not exactly what we need.

...Because if we were to do so, then instead of sending them the scripts in a file, we have to send a backup db for them to restore it and have the SP and functions encrypted.
