 jobs in job agent - sql 2000/2005

hi,

i would like to track all jobs running (from start point to end point with all steps) in SQL job agent and to track which is running simultaneously and if one of the jobs is making a lock on table, which affects another job.

Have you looked at any of the following yet?

"Job Activity Monitor" (under Sql Server Agent of Object Explorer)
"Activity Monitor" (under Management of Object Explorer)
"Standard Reports" (from right-clicking objects in Object Explorer)

Yes, i've looked at this. i was thinking more like o write sql for jobs coinciding with each other.

or is this also possible here.

You can purchase third party tools to do this. I believe Idera has one called sqlSchedule.
