I'm also looking at another line of investigation and am wondering whether these problems are because I didn't register the application with Microsoft.I get this message when looking at the SQL Server Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections:TITLE: Surface Area Configuration------------------------------No SQL Server 2005 components were found on the specified computer.
