Hoping someone here can help me. I'm new to SQL and want to get my feet wet. I did however do a virtual course on it a few months ago, but being I never used it before it didn't make total sense to me.

I'm running a local websever on my local lan using WinLamp and apache and the website has a listing of file's of all kinds of media. I'm wanting to use sql as a database and include a search function on the site so a use can search for a file and have sql find it, but I'm not sure where to get started.

By doing this SQL will make better sense to me and I'll understand alot better.

in this case, the path to the files should be stored in the database.
