1)check registry settings2)Open "services.msc" - within their you should be able to see if there is a SQL Server Engine insatlled - the name will depend on whether you have created a named instance or whether it's a DEFAULT installationJack Vamvas--------------------http://www.ITjobfeed.com |

1. The question is a litle vague.2. The answer above is irrelavent.But if the sqlserver service is running, then it is most certianly a server. doesn't mean it's not a client to something though.Let's start with: "What are you trying to accomplish?" Then we can give you a more direct answer |
