Hi everybody,
Is there any reason why I should use the Money data type instead of Numeric(n,2) for financial value fields ?

Money (8 bytes) and smallmoney (4 bytes) are scaled integers with 4 decimal precision; this allows for faster calculations that are more accurate (fewer rounding problems), and have smaller storage requirements than the equivalent numeric/decimal datatypes. Look in Books Online for more details.

It might be a personal preference, but I find it more descriptive to see "money" as a datatype; it makes it pretty clear that the column holds financial data.
