Hi - can anyone help on the following issue please.Installed SQL Server 2008 x64 ANALYSIS SERVICES instance on a Windows 2003 x64 server which goes fine and getting issues when attempting to install Service Pack 1 for SQL.It fails to install the Service Pack and generates the error message that the file C:\Windows\Installer\1400d287.msi is missing. From what I can see in the registry whilst searching for this msi - it is in the reg key relating to SQL 2005 VSS writer!!!!Any ideas??? |

found out issue was to do with lack of space on the C drive on the machine. It managed to extract from the Service Pack ok - but when it was going around to replacing the files and backing up the original files - thats when the error occurred.Nothing showing in the Event logs about space.....Typical!!! |
