| Hello. I've done a lot of searching on this site, and I've been unable to find much on this at all.Simply put, I'm trying to pull data from a Sybase database running on Solaris into a SQL 2000 database. I'd rather use replication, if possible...however, a DTS package would be fine.If someone could describe, in relative detail, how to accomplish this - or point me in the direction of some good links on it...that'd be awesome.EDIT: I'd like to add that I'd rather do this FROM the SQL 2000 server, as opposed to having to install anything on the Sybase server. | I've done this before, it is pretty easy to do via DTS, but I don't think it is possible via replication.You need to have a Sybase OLEDB or ODBC Driver. After that, it is not any different than a regualr DTS package. You can either use the import wizard, or package designer based on how detailed you need to get.-Chad |
