| I have a number of SQL server 2000 databases that I want to upgrade to SQL server 2008. The databases contain a lot of stored procedures.Does anyone know if there any features of t-SQL 2000 not supported in t-SQL 2008?In other words do I have to re-develop my stored procedures if I upgrade from 2000 to 2008?Thanks,macca |

| There are some that are documented in Books Online for SQL 2008 (which you can download and install on your PC< or read online on Microsoft's web site)There is also an Upgrade Advisor that you can run which will check for things that are no longer supported / you need to changeTips on upgrading to SQL 2008 here:http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=138230 |
