| I am using 2 SQL Server DB’sServer A:Enterprise Edition (64-bit)SP29.00.3042.00Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.3042.00 (X64) Feb 10 2007 00:59:02 Copyright (c) 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.0 (Build 6001: Service Pack 1)Server B:Enterprise Edition (64-bit)SP39.00.4035.00Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.4035.00(X64) Nov 24 2008 16:17:31 Copyright (c) 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)Same Application is running on both servers; Server A is running perfect in comparison of SQL server its Average transaction time is 41ms; while Server B is take more than 200ms to complete same Transaction. Processor Activity normalMemory utilization Normal,Log File size normalPhysical disk activity normalIt is observed that insertion in one table take more then 120ms per single transaction; that table has 3 indexes, 1 primary key and 1 foreign key, but this is same as in server AAny clue/tip/direction to dig out more to fix this problemyour advices will be highly appreciated.sanisoft@windowslive.comsani |
