| LateBird writes "Hi, everybody,I have been using DTS to keep SQL server 7.0 and MS Access synchronized. The problem I am facing is that DTS jobs are not stable, to say the least. Some days they run fine, other time some of them fail. There are times I got an e-mail on the failure, while other times, it failed to notify me.What are the major considerations to improve these DTS packages' performance?Hong ChenProgrammer/Analyst" |

Install SP3, many DTS bug fixes in there . . .Upgrade to SQL 2k. DTS is much more mature and robust in 2k . . .Jay<O> |
