Thanks Jack for the response... I have to do it for many files and cannot do it manually for each file using wizard.. I was planning to create Stored Proc or SSIS Package and pass filename and table name as parameters. My SQL server is 64 bit so can't use Openrowset. |

| i suggest you to use SSIS. it is relatively straightforward to do it in SSIS. |
