 Storing all my users in 1 table. A good idea?

Should I store all my users in one table...all (potentially) 500 million of them.

If not. how should I divide it up?
the table will include basic info


I'm not sure how most big networks store their info

Yes you should store them all in one table.

You can look into table partitioning if performance becomes a concern.
