Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but here goes.

When I’m working in the SQL Server Management Studio at the top you can select how you want to output the data. Whether it is results to text, to grid, or to file. I am wondering if there is a way that I can create a sql job to output results to a file without me manually select results to file. I already have sql jobs that run I am basically wondering if there is some script or command that I can use to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Nick

Definitely. you can use SSIS, BCP, ActiveX Script and more. Just decide the method you want and use the appropriate step type in the job.

start Here as BCP is likely to be the option you choose.
