Hi,
Please anyone help!!!!!
Please any one can answer my question.
You are only given the transaction date in your transactions table and your client requires you to be able to show them their data by Financial Year, Quarter, Month, Week and Week Day
Write the script that will enable you to create the new values for each of the measures listed above. The financial year end is 28 February 2011
Then confirm the Financial Year, Quarter, Month, Week and Weekday for the following date: 15/06/2011

Sounds like homework to me ...

Show your workings so far, and change the subject to something that people who are knowledgeable will bother to read. Most people here just ignore posts with subjects like this. Me too, most of the time ...

Regarding the actual questions, look in SQL Server Books Online at the DATEPART and DATENAME functions. For the finanacial year calculation, you can do some DATEADD arithmetic or use a CASE expression.

If I wanted my money to be safe I'd take it OUT of any U.S. bank.
