| Hello,I had SQL Server 2008 Developer SP2 Installed, but I could not restore a database, so I thought maybe I can install Sql Server Express 2008 R2 since the version of it is (10.50.1600), I install it without any problems. The thing is that i kind of merge the management studio into one (the sql server express 2008 R2) only, and I thought well thats ok, the thing is that it stills recognizes the version as the developer one (10.00.4000) so I cannot still restore the database backup. What can I do?Thanks in advance. |

| Define 'can't restore the backup'If a backup won't restore to developer edition, there's no reason to expect it to restore on Express.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
