                                          | You need to provide the name (and instance) of a server just like you would in Management Studio. This is where ClearTrace will create its database. The database it will create is the one you name.Do you get an error? What's the error.=================================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. | You should put the server name in without the \\ at the front. If there's an instance, enter "servername\instancename".=================================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. One crisis at a time. |

                                          | I have a similar problem - my guess is though it's trying to connect tot the server with my windows account, but we use SQL Auth. Is there a way to connect with SQL Auth? |

                                          | It's not the SQL part. It's the encryption part. I can't go setting up database encryption on their server. That means I have to do it inside my executable. I really just need to spend time researching the cryptography API. I just haven't had a chance to do that yet.=================================================Creating tomorrow's legacy systems today. One crisis at a time. |
