Hi,

i want to get information about what schema we are using, how to retrieve that information, what sql statement should i use to retrieve information about the schema and its meta data tables present in it.

Have a look at information_schema views

information_schema.tables
information_schema.columns
etc.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.
