I'm having trouble with the following query

SELECT TOP 1 Player FROM World_Cup.England..Team
WHERE Score in ('England 1','Argentina 0')

I keep getting 11 results - it seems to be retuning the whole Team ??

As an American and a soccer player since age 4 I feel ashamed that most of us don't follow the World Cup. Though personally proud that we took one against Portugal!

no wonder you are having trouble with that query....it only works once in a blue moon.....

It doesn't have a transaction log to prove that it can be replicated across multiple instances of the server named "opposition".

and as for "retuning the whole Team"...(your words not mine)...that's exactly what they needed since that Dietmar Hamman goal in Wembley...a full overhall....

well done on the result....but don't believe that it's over yet...not until the fat Ma(ra)dona sings....
