| Hi everybody, The statement SELECT 5/8 is returning 0. How do I get the right answer? I tried SELECT CAST( 5/8 AS Numeric(10,3) ) which didn't work. Please help me. |

| SELECT CAST( 5 AS Numeric(10,3) ) /8select 1.000 * 5/8 will also work.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy.Edited by - nr on 09/13/2002 08:30:32 |
