I prefer:
- Dell notebook w/ wireless NIC
- Starbucks/Tmobile connect
- bottomless glass of Iced Chai latte...

But now that I've started that, I'm sure Rob or Merkin will jump in with a reference to Bondi Beach...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Bondi Beach
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Cooper's
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, topless women
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, drinking Cooper's on Bondi Beach while ogling topless women

OK, let's review here:
quote:
- Dell notebook w/ wireless NIC
Not for me man! Gimmee an abacus and a Morse telegraph, that's all I need (hell, sometimes I'm lucky to get that much!)
quote:
- Starbucks/Tmobile connect
Starbucks? Isn't that the guy who runs an orphanage with this annoyingly high-pitched red-headed bimbo screaming about Tomorrow? No, wait, that's Warbucks, never mind...
quote:
- bottomless glass of Iced Chai latte...
???? And can I have that with some new-age crystal herbal colonic therapy to go, please? COFFEE, sir, brewed through a used newspaper filter, hot enough to melt my fingerprints, in a used paper cup! If you've never drunk coffee that could double as driveway sealant, you're not a real developer!

Well I have tried both ASP and JSP, COM and EJB etc etc... I guess it's boils down to a question of what you prefer (not necessarily the best). For me that's the Microsoft family (SQL2000/ASP/ASP.NET/VB.NET).

Well, honestly I'm not that much of a coffee drinker despite the fact I live in the new coffee mecca. However, Coca Cola and Mountain Dew... now we're talking! Oh and don't forget Jolt for those really fun days.

Personally I find that a King Size Snickers and a 20 oz Coke really helps relax me in the afternoons so I can focus on the work I should have done in the morning.

You wish Seattle had anything to do with Coffee. Starbucks is for people who don't like the taste of coffee.

I'm not even going to go into the bit about closing down independant coffee shops......

Yeah, guess I should have said "new coffee profit center". .

"Starbucks... The Microsoft of the coffee industry."
