Amol Kokane writes "Hello,

I have a problem.
When I paste a web-link into a field defined as HYPERLINK in Microsoft ACCESS table and leave the cell, it truncates the link to 255. Clicking on this cell, desired page doesn't open. Secondly, if I see the cell properties, it shows Display Text and Page Link same.
But when I change type of same field to MEMO, it shows me the original link, not truncated.

Why this happens?
Will you plz help me?

Amol"

Test fields in access can store a maximum of 255 characters.
For anything larger use MEMO field.

Where are you putting the field from access in a web page, in a report?? Don't really know what you're asking? What do you mean by clicking on this cell.
