Is it possible to use SQL-DMO to manipulate an DTS object? Specifically using SQL-DMO to force object name and/or ID changes?

Ideas?

Thanks!

No, they are separate object libraries, but the DTS object model will let you change anything and everything about a DTS package and its objects.

What sort of object name / IDs?
Are you talking about the steps within the package?

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

I was asked by a co-worker who is doing some evil black-magic stuff with DTS. He was curious if he could change the package ID for a DTS package IN a DTS package. He was going to use the dynamic property object to do this and was wondering if there was another way that he could have more control.

No really! It was a co-worker. Come on, it's not like I said that I had a girlfriend in Canada or something like that. For some reason, they seem to think I would know. Silly them.
