I am creating a temp table in a stored procedure .is it possible to have a identity column in a temp table?

Just tried it.
It should have taken about 50 secs for you to test.
(less if you don't make typing mistakes)

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
