For reasons unknown to me, other than a strong feeling that I personally botched it myself, my browser no longer automatically logs me into SQLTEAM when I visit.

This costs me one complete click to manually log into the site when I visit.

I've deleted my cookies and tried again, and still, I need to login manually.

Is there a setting somewhere that controls automatic login?

Just login when you get to the site, then it will automatically log you into the site each time as long as you don't clear out your cookies.

The best place to login is the forum home page (http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/). That has a remember me function that is enabled by default. You might try explicitly logging out and then logging back in. If I recall correctly that will remove and then recreate the necessary cookie.

Thanks everyone. "My bad" as they say.

I'd set cookies to "Maximum lifetime of current session" in Netscape 7.
