I have a column C that need to be updated with the percent increase between column A and B as (A-B)/B. Also, if B=0 then I need to update the value in column C as 'NA'. If I am specifying Data type of column C as nvarchar to accomodate this, then I am having problem in updating the percent value. I keep getting the error

Arithmetic overflow error for type varchar, value = -0.008854.
The statement has been terminated.

The data type of column A and B are decimal(14,2).

Any suggestions?

Thank you.
PKS.

Never mind. I figured it. Had field length too small.

Thank you.
