Greetings!I am pretty sure that you can change the collation of a column in a WHERE clause but the following line gives me an error,collate(dep.membno, 'SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS') = ee.employeereference Still can't find it in BOL, but I have seen it somewhere in there beofre. _________________________________________________________The cradle of civilisation will defeat the new monsters of the world. |

The examples in BOL are:-SELECT (CASE WHEN id > 10 THEN GreekCol ELSE LatinCol END) COLLATE Latin1_General_CI_AS FROM TestTabSELECT * FROM TestTab WHERE GreekCol = LatinCol COLLATE greek_ci_as look for collations and then the sub-category of COLLATE... |
