Iam facing the issue of locking.when I check the management in the enterprise management i see the process_id as -2
in certain database(locks/objects).How should I over come this.Killing the process from lock_info table or can
I do something in the queries which won't lock the tables

Locking is normal. Are you seeing blocking problems or deadlocks or anything else besides locking?

No just locking..so what currently we do is scheduled a job to run so that it kills the process whenever there is a lock

You shouldn't be doing that. Locking is normal behavior. I would suggest reading up on locks in BOL for more information.
