hi,

i need to transfer my data from a remote server to my server, how can i do that using triggers and SP

plz suggest me

Have you looked at replication, backup/recovery, log shipping, or DTS? What are the business needs for this? How often will you want to do it? How up-to-date does it need to be?

Why triggers and SP?

I'm guessing you wnat a linked server to access the other server from an sp or trigger but beyond that difficult to say.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
