Hi,
I've been sent an mdb file so I can take a look at the structure of the
database and map it on to our sqlserver database. Problem is, when I open
the mdb file I get the message:

You can't make changes to the database objects in the database 'BOS'
This database was created in an earlier version of Microsoft Access.
To convert this database to the current version of Microsoft Access, close
the database, point to Database Utilities on the Tools menu, and then click
Convert Database.

This is all fine, as I don't want to make changes, I just want to look at
it. But when I click on OK, there seem to be no tables, queries, anything in
the database.
I then tried converting it as described in the helpful message. However,
still no tables! I know there must be stuff in there as the mdb file is over
700kb and when I looked at it in Wordpad there were obviously tables in
there.
I don't know what version of Access this mdb file is.

Does anyone have any ideas why I can't view the database structure, let
alone any data?
Many thanks,

Anna
