Annie writes "I wanted to know how I can retreive data from 10 tables simultaneously. Can I use a view to achieve this or is there any other way for this ?All the 10 tables contain a huge amount of data and 2 tables contain 32 columns.

What is to be done so that I can retreive data from 10 tables and at a considerable speed -each table has a joining common column?"

You can join all of the tables together either by themselves or in a view.

From a performance viewpoint, it would help if you only returned the data columns that were necessary, if you had the proper indexing on the joining columns and if you applied the correct filtering in the where clause.

Why :) I mean what are you doing with 10 big tables of data that require you to access them concurrently?
