Author  Topic  MarkCRS Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2005-02-22 : 11:38:49 In Crystal Reports you can create an alert in a report, this will trigger when the report is run if, for example, a threshold is reached (stock order report items < 50 for example). In Crystal Enterprise I could then schedule the report to email but only when alerts are triggered. So of course the question is how can I do the same in Reporting Services. Out of the box I cant see a way but perhaps a custom delivery extension that read the output of the intermediate report and looked for exceptions, on finding them it then actioned a delivery to email. Alerts in reports? Sending Alerts by email. Two questions in one really. Any thoughts?
