We have a test server cluster with an app server (with sql server) and a web server which deals primarily with web apps (strangely enough). Excuse my ignorance, but on which one do I install RS?The app server would be my first thought, but is there a way to specify that the web server box should be used as the Report server host?caid |

It just depends on what you want to do. If you want the free version of RS, then you must install it on the database server. If you want a more robust solution, then you need to purchase a license and install this on the web server.Tara |
