Hi All,A client has requested direct access to one of the reports that I create via OLAP in Microsoft Excel. I normally point to the OLAP server and use a pivot table to manipulate data within Excel. Based on my limited experience in Reporting Services it seems like the ideal solution to give my client access to the reporting.I've gotten the point where I've setup a server outside of my firewall and installed reporting services. The reporting services interface is working fine, I'm able to login and get to the point where I can see the report. The problem is when I click on the actual report, I end up on a blank screen. Is there something I should be doing to make excel reports viewable in reporting services?Second question how would I go about setting up the excel report in reporting services to point to an OLAP server within the firewall when the reporting server is outside of the firewall. Is this even possible? Thanks in advance.Dave |
