I need to implement a portal web front-end and found the perfect tool to help me quickly implement the site. At www.asp.net a portal .net starter kit is avaiable for portal development using dot net newbees like me.My problem is finding a site that supports SQL. I currently host my web site with Microsoft Web Hosting. Is it just me, or would anyone else out there also expect that Microsoft would offer SQL support at their web hosting site? To my astonishment - Microsoft does not offer SQL support and from what I gather does not intent to.I have the portal code working fine on my development box using SQL, therefore I want to convert to access (this is just for site login anyway), but I am stumped as to how to proceed.I would appreciate any Access/.NET guru's out their that can get me started? |

I didn't think Microsoft offered hosting to the public.SQL Server and ASP.NET hosting is $10 a month in some places, surely you can afford that.DamianIta erat quando hic adveni. |
