Yeah, I didn't have any yak-related choices in this one. I'm using this for demographics for advertising. I was afraid if everyone chose the yak-related choices then I'll be stuck selling advertising to Bob's Yak Grooming.

Hmmm, you should contact Yak farmers and see if they have a union that could comp you for all the fame you have brought them.

But that would be Rob Volk. Not a very interesting selection on the survey: "Are you Rob Volk?"

Any other suggestions?

How about another option: None of the above.

Is interest in SQL limited to developers and DBAs?

I was thinking more along the lines of related jobs that deal with SQL: IT QA, IT managers, trainers, etc.

Since it is a poll, you may be skewing the results by not providing this option. If someone isn't a developer or DBA, they probably won't answer.

But...but...we also talk about BEER, and Bondi Beach, and the lovely women upon it, and...and...all KINDS of things of interest to non-SQL Server people...

...at least, we USED to talk about those things. We've been losing focus lately.

Well, my job title says I am a manager, but I also do DBA and database developement work, so I am not sure exactly where I fall on your poll.
